Mining museum with an open-air museum of buildings, historical and geological exposition and the possibility to climb the 52 m high mining tower that not only offers a view over the area but also of the whole Giant Mountains, including Sněžka.
Rýchory
In the nature reserve, which forms the easternmost part of the Giant Mountains, you can walk along the most important peak ridges including Dvorský les, Mravenečník and Červený vrch, or walk through the Rýchory Forest or along the Rýchory nature trail. Hikers, but also botanists and zoologists, are then attracted to visit the Rýchorská hut located at an altitude of 1,000 m.

45-metre high observation tower located on the outskirts of Janské Lázně offering breathtaking views, the opportunity to ride down a slide over 50 metres long or exploring its underground area and studying the microcosm of the soil, tree roots and the smallest critters.
The EPO1 Contemporary Art Centre is the largest private gallery in the country, featuring a variety of artworks – sculptures, paintings and installations covering an area of 3,400 m².
A trip to Černá hora in Janské Lázně offers beautiful views and a variety of hiking and cycling trails. You can go up by cable car, down on a scooter. You can also take a walk through the Černohorské peat bog, through which leads a nature trail over three kilometres long.
The largest rock town in the Czech Republic attracts visitors of all ages all year round for a walk through unspoilt nature full of diverse rock formations and interesting spots, including a rock lake or a narrow gorge called the Mouse Hole.
Up to our highest mountain lead several hiking and cycling trails. From the top, where you will find the rotunda Chapel of St. Lawrence, a trigonometric stone obelisk and the Polish Lodge, you can enjoy an up to 200 km unobstructed view.
In one of the most famous zoological gardens in the Czech Republic, more than 2,300 animals await you, including the largest collection of African animals in Europe, as well as the opportunity to ride in the African Safari among free-roaming zebras, giraffes, antelopes or even lions.
